Their story
The painters who won't skip the preparation
In their own wordsWe spoke with Michael and confirmed every detail. How we vet
Michael has run Pro Painting Works out of Stirling for more than twenty years, and the thing he will talk your ear off about is not paint. It is what happens before the paint.
Surfaces get washed, sanded, filled and primed properly, because as the team put it, a beautiful finish over poor preparation is just an expensive way to buy yourself the same problem in two years. Near the coast that matters. Homes here cop salt air and hard sun, so coatings get picked to hold their colour rather than chalk off after a few summers.
It is a family business, Dulux Accredited, and the crew that quotes your job is the crew that turns up to do it. Interior, exterior, fences, and spray work that brings tired window and door frames back to a factory-smooth finish.
They painted the 2024 MSWA Mega Home Lottery grand prize home at Palm Bay. They also put the drop sheets down and leave your place tidy each evening, which is the part you actually live with.

“Michael from Pro painting works did an amazing job painting the front Gable of my carport. His communication was excellent and he was on time and quick and clean and a lovely person to deal with and very helpful with helping me make last minute decisions. It was a small job but he gave it full attention to detail. He was also very patient while I had to return a can of paint that was tinted incorrectly. I will definitely use him again.”
