Mark got into celebrancy because, in his own words, "I genuinely love weddings and bringing people together." Before that came years as a teacher, a tour guide who led groups across every continent including Antarctica, and an MC. Those roles, he says, taught him "how to connect with people, keep an audience engaged, stay calm under pressure, and make every event enjoyable."
It shows in how he runs a wedding. Mark works as both celebrant and MC, so the ceremony and the reception speeches flow as one, without handing off to a stranger halfway through the day. He covers Perth CBD through to Margaret River, with packages from around $600, including LGBTQIA+ ceremonies and friend-led hybrid packages.
What he loves most is making each ceremony fun, personal and stress free for every couple. "Seeing people laughing one minute, tearing up the next, and then celebrating together is something I'll never get tired of."
